Internship Service Units

Report to Mrs. Nik Norbaiti Bt. Abd Yazib under Service Installations. I’ve been briefly explained about the work flow for service started from customer request to the installation of service wire. I was assigned to follow service team. Overviewed by technician on the single phase and three phases service wire installations.

Internship ( SAVR units part 2)

hehe.. nk update blog pun susah, rmh xde internet.. heeee.. but dont worry, i can do it. hehe..
opss.. bm la plak.. hehe.. So, i follow SAVR about 1 month..The SAVR are responsible to fix the end connections from the TNB Distribution supply cables to the consumer’s meter. This section basically receives the electrical fixing infrastructure. Basically, this section handles, maintains and repairs the Low Voltage (LV) fixings in the Bachok area so:

1. The supply is stable and safe for use.
2. Preventing supply disruptions and faults on the fixings
3. Maximizes the lifespan of the fixings.

Internship ( SAVR Units)

SAVR stand for Sesalur Atas Voltan Rendah. Report to Mr Zulkifli Abdullah. I was assigned to follow Sesalur Atas Voltan Rendah (Low Voltage Overhead Line) team. An overview delivered by technician on the types of overhead cables and fuses ratings, the structure and construction and also the basic components in Low Voltage Overhead Line. I was assigned to follow Low Voltage Overhead Line team within 1 month. The work scopes mostly installations of electrical poles and overhead distributions cables. Besides that, this team responsible to repair and maintain about electric problems.

Internship ( Street Lighting Units)

Huh.. i have got more n more experiences.. Hehe.. This week, i follow street lighting unit. This unit is to make new installation of street lighting. besides that, this geng are required to repair problem about pole lighting that complain by consumer. hehe.. My supervisor is Pn Rukiah. person who that responsible to take charges are Mr Sukri aka Pakcik Yie and the driver's Mr Saberi aka Abe Yie..

Internship ( week 3)

Salam.. huhu.. This week, I follow metering units. The work scopes were to check meter whether ok or not, install new meter and replace meter. Before “round” to find house, Pakcik Sidi and Abe Min brief me some part of meter and the function of meter. There are two type of meter that 1 phase meter and 3 phase meter. Besides that, meter divided into two; electronic and mechanical meter.

1 PHASE METER

Usually using 60A cut out and 30m fuse. Use one cut out and one fuse. There are 4 wires that connect to Tnb meter. 2 phase wire( 1 from street pole to meter and 1 from meter to db inside house) and 2 neutral wire ( 1 from street pole to meter and 1 from meter to db inside house).

3 PHASE METER

Usually used 100A cut out and 60m Fuse. Use 3 cut out and 3 fuse. For house that used larges load. 3 phase wire that indicate red, yellow and blue. 1 neutral wire color with black.

CT METER

Used in commercial building or biggest building that used larges of load. That power supply are direct connection from underground cable. All task relation with CT meter will refer to TNB kota bharu. Every day, many meters should install. This meter very cheaper than lct meter. So, tnb responsible to fulfill the customer demand. Hehe..
